As the dewy morning light streams through the blinds, I inch my eyes open and see the darkened silhouette of my husband sitting on the edge of the bed. It is in these intimate moments that I know I am home. I realize that I have the best job in the world, documenting the most powerful force on earth- love.
Photographs have the power to capture a moment in time, a moment that most people don't ever get to see. It is this relationship between myself and my subjects that I hold onto so deeply. With each snap of the shutter, we create an experience between us that is both infinite and timeless.
I have been so fortunate to have been raised all over the world; along the way, breathing in all of the beauty and possibilities that humanity has to offer. The Cayman Islands is the place that I have the privilege of calling my home. From a young age these islands have fostered a love for a life filled with genuine simplicity. My darling husband, Jonathan and I cherish our time here under the palm trees with our two fur-babies, Daisy and Bear.
As a photographer trained in the fine arts, I aim to create romantic and timeless imagery for all of my clients. The art of photography is truly my passion, while building meaningful bonds with my clients so that their vision is brought to life. I cannot wait to be part of the moments that are most precious to you and I look forward to meeting you where the sand meets the sea and the sun meets the sky.

Where have you lived?
Although born in Canada, I have been so lucky to have been a world traveler from a very young age in my life; travelling and living in places including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and British Columbia. However, it's been the Cayman Islands that I consider my home and I am so thankful every day that I have the privilege of living and pursuing my dreams in such a painstakingly beautiful country.

How did you meet your husband?
Photography is not only my true passion, but also led me to my husband Jonathan. In our early days of dating, he invited me to Jeep around Cayman as we photographed the island's beauty together. Who would have thought that 5 years later, we ourselves would be walking down the sandy aisle and exchanging our own vows.

What are your favorite wedding moments to shoot?
Although not the traditional thing to do, I just love shooting first looks! I love seeing the grooms reaction to the bride as they share such a private moment with one another (with me of course!) Also, I must say I'm an absolute sucker for stunning bridal portraits - they really are my fav! But in the end, it's all about capturing the relationship and love of the day, which shines through in so many special moments!

How did you get started in photography, and ultimately weddings?
Graduating from a photography program centered in the fine arts, I went on to exhibit my work in art galleries across Canada and Europe. It was during this time that a close friend asked me to photograph her wedding, and I can honestly say I've never looked back! I love being the voice behind the lens that tells the love story of others. Documenting love has become my passion, every story is different and unique in it's own way. Along the way, I get to forge relationships with all of my clients that last for generations to come. With each snap of the shutter, we create an experience between us that is both infinite and timeless.

What's your photography style like?
I am in love with natural light and beauty. My style is chic, romantic, and most importantly, timeless. My focus is always the couples and their emotions, capturing the intimacy and relationship between two people.

Where do you envision your photography career in the next 5 years?
First of all, I am just so excited to think about where the next 5 years will take me. A huge goal is to travel more! Growing up a bit of a vagabond, wanderlust runs deep in my veins. I would love to carry on shooting destination weddings wherever my couples take me!

I always intend to deliver images that you are absolutely in love with and keep you totally stress-free on your special day! More than likely we will be life long friends and will stay in touch with you as your family grows!
