Very excited to share this gorgeous styled bridal shoot that high-lighted all the talent we have here in the Cayman Islands wedding Industry! The shoot took place at Bacaro restaurant, a stunning venue here in Grand Cayman. This shoot had just gorgeous details from gold pressed bumble-bee menus to the addition of decorative honey-combs.
This shoot just proves, you don’t always have to wear white to your wedding and into the reception! You can mix it up a bit with some color- I just loved the soft blue dress that really tied into the color palette of the decor.
Amanda Jane (boutique wedding planner of Direction Event Planning) really executed such special wedding inspiration here in the Cayman Islands. You can check out more from Direction Event Planning here.

The main focus of this shoot was based around the introduction of having a green wedding that could still be elegant, personal and breathtaking in Cayman.
At Direction our focus is on creating events that are eco-friendly and sustainable and support local companies/vendors while still creating events that are memorable and special.
When scouting out a location Bacaro came to mind immediately. This spectacular venue not only provides an ambiance that is visually breathtaking it also has a product and service that is on point.
From the moment you walk in you feel like you are in a restaurant miles away that has been transported to the Caribbean, so industrial chic.
We filled this amazing space with loads of natural palms and plants to really amp up the feeling of being on an island and creating intimacy and exclusivity.
The details were soft and feminine yet rustic and natural to balance the space. Local cactus were introduced to the tables to show the diversity in landscape and texture Cayman can provide.
Our stunning bride in an alternative dress really showed her edgy , bohemian style paired with a soft feminine veil and bouquet to bring a timeless elegance to cherish.
The venue showed many aspects of the Cayman terrain from the restaurant, to the Canal, to the palms and the docks of the yacht club.
To be able to showcase so many different vibes in one cohesive event is what makes it so personal, unique and memorable for a couple and that is what we were trying to showcase. The ability to make any space your own, to showcase who you are in a authentic manner, to make a difference in the world, in the community and in peoples lives forever. And to have a little eye candy to show for it ♡
