Throwback Thursday: Thomas & Veronica’s Intimate Beach Wedding

Alright, so as a cheers to Throwback Thursday, I wanted to feature the wedding of Veronica and Thomas. We all honestly had #thebestdayever so I thought it fitting to give them a shout-out on the new blog!
It is safe to say that from the moment that Veronica told me she was wearing a flower-crown, I knew it was a match- made in heaven (for those of you that don’t know, I’m obsessed with them and even wore one to my wedding!)
I just love intimate celebrations of love. The bride and groom got ready in separate locations, but really wanted to make the day about each other and spending all the time they could with their family and friends who came to see them get married. They decided to make every moment count- arriving at the ceremony location to mingle with their guests. Veronica showed up at the venue, grabbed a glass of wine, and was the life of the party. I included the moment below that Veronica turned around and met me in person for the first time- she was just such a joyous bride on her wedding day!
Before the ceremony, I whisked the couple off to Starfish Point where we got in a few beautiful snaps of the couple doing what they do best, having fun! I just loved photographing these two. They both laughed the whole time, danced, and really soaked in the moment.
The wedding was full of special touches in which her family helped with the DIY. The most special being that Veronica’s belt and barefoot sandals were made straight from the lace of her mother’s wedding dress. I mean, come on!
I must say I think of this wedding often. How lucky am I that I get to capture this kind of real- love between a couple and their friends and family.  Happy Throwback Thursday– this one was surely a goodie!
