Let’s start with a tough one. Describe your wedding day in 3-5 words!
Fun, beautiful, perfect
What photography related advice would you offer the camera shy?
Try and pretend you are not being photographed. Have fun with it.
Did you do a first look? Why or why not?
We did, at the suggestion of our amazing photographer. Neither of us felt strongly one way or the other, but the pictures turned out great, so it was the right choice for us.
The Dress. Tell me about your experience choosing it! Where did you find it, how did you choose it and how many did you try on before you found the one?
I tried the traditional route first in department stores and was not feeling it! Very soon after I booked an appointment at BHLDN and tried on about 10 dresses. I liked 5 of them so much, I ordered all 5 to try on in my size at home. I had some girlfriends over for wine and a try-on party when the dresses arrived, and we narrowed it down to two. I tried both on the next morning alone and immediately knew which one I wanted.
Do you have a favorite photo? If so, which one?
That’s a tough one! My favorites are the ones where it is just the two of us and we have big, goofy grins on our faces.
What made you choose your venue?
We visited Grand Cayman the year before our wedding and had a fantastic time. We both love to relax, swim, and scuba dive, so Grand Cayman really has it all! We also wanted a venue that did not feel overly formal, and where we could enjoy the outdoors. Since the Westin had recently remodeled, we thought it was perfect.
What specific moment will you hold onto forever?
The general atmosphere of being surrounded by close friends and family at a very special time.
How would you describe your overall wedding experience?
It went so quickly! However, we thankfully have amazing pictures to look back on and remember how perfect everything turned out to be. We also really enjoyed having a small wedding so we could dedicate our time to our closest friends and family.

Jenna was one of several photographers recommended by the Westin. We loved your portfolio and our initial exchanges with you.
What advice would you offer couples planning for their wedding?
On the day of, try and slow down and enjoy the moment; it’s over in a blink!
